A4 size: dimensions and most common uses

The dimensions of size A4 are as follows: 210 x 297 mm or 21 x 29.7 cm. Compared to other formats, A4 is: double A5, four times A6, half A3 and a quarter of A2. Like the other most common formats, A4 is regulated by international paper size standard ISO 216, based on German standard DIN 476.

An A4 sheet has the following dimensions in inches/pixels:

Inches: 8.3 x 11.7

Pixel 72 DPI: 595 x 842

Pixel 150 DPI: 1,240 x 1,754

Pixel 300 DPI: 2,480 x 3,508

Pixel 600 DPI: 4,960 x 7,016.

Remember that with pixels, the dimensions depend on the resolution. The higher the resolution, the higher the number of pixels.
