Greeting Cards - Folding Options

Our online form enables the choice of paper size, orientation, folds and a myriad of printing options such as black and white or 4 colour printing. Our online form also recommends the ideal paper types and weights for Greeting Cards, z fold, letter folds or other variation of folded prints to ensure optimal printing and customer satisfaction. The variety of paper choices available ensures your project will have the bespoke look and feel required which is essential for ensuring your brand comes across in the desired manner.

Ease of use is of the utmost importance at Pixartprinting, which is why our online form has been created with this in mind. A downloadable Instructions Manual and template is also available so that each client can optimise their graphic file prior to submission. Once complete, graphic files can be uploaded to the Pixartprinting website or sent via post.

Folded Prints - Delivery and Printing Details

Each order requires a minimum of 50 units of Greeting Cards.

For those with a stringent turnaround time, orders can be delivered in as little as 48 hours. Those that order in advance will benefit from a reduced cost, however Pixartprinting offers competitive prices for all delivery options. Professional Graphic Designers can also verify your design for optimal printing for a negligible surcharge.

- Check PDF files for magazines and catalogues: spine dimension and cover file
- Check the graphic layout is correct if folds are required

Our Freereprint service protects you in case you or your client make any mistakes when creating the document. It enables you to get a reprint quickly and at no additional cost.

- You can send a corrected file for reprint with the same characteristics as the work you already received.
- Select Freereprint when ordering. The insurance is valid for a single reprint of the same print job.
- You can activate the reprinting of the insured goods directly from the My Account section. You have until 18:00 on the third working day after receipt of the goods to request it.
- On the day following your order we will send a courier to collect the defective goods. 
- On receipt of the new file the job will be reprinted within 72 hours.

The order needs to be placed before 12:00 pm.
The print-ready file needs to be sent before 12:30 pm on the day the order was placed.
Payment is required by 12:30 pm (excluding delivery) on the day the order was placed (Visa, MasterCard, PayPal, B. transfer).
Delivery dates apply to most of the country. Deliveries to remote locations may take two working days or more. Files or payment confirmation (credit card, Paypal and bank transfer) received after the due date may result in delivery delays.

Delivery dates only take into consideration Italian holidays: New Year’s Day, 6th Jan, 25th Apr, 1st May, 2nd June, 15th Aug, 1st Nov, 8th Dec, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Year’s Eve, Easter Sunday and Easter Monday.

Download the Template and Instructions for your configured product to create accurate files that are optimised for printing.
The Template is a file that helps you to create and adapt your artwork for your chosen format. It requires a desktop publishing program to open and edit it, preferably a vector graphics editor.
The Instructions file contains all the information you need to create a print-ready file.

Send the file and track the printing process.
If the uploaded file does not comply with the rules it will not be sent for printing, which may postpone the delivery date.
Non-compliant files require action on your part - you will be sent a notification email to the address linked to your Pixartprinting account. Check your emails frequently to remain up-to-date.

Tips for the preparation and printing of your file

The optimal resolution for printing small format items is between 200 and 350 dpi.
Our checking procedure blocks files with a resolution below 72 dpi.

The telephone staff were polite.
The website interface was difficult to use and overly complicated, the templates were the opposite way round to every other print website I have used. It took 24 hours before I received an email to say there was a problem with my order and resulted in the delivery being delayed. The quality of the product was poor, the cards were flimsy and all of them were bent out of shape. I changed my order to the heaviest card stock but I still received thin cards. The price is not competitive as I have had better quality cards with envelopes and cello packed for the same price elsewhere. I'm afraid I wouldn't be able to recommend this product to anyone else.
