Lightweight, cost-effective and available with a full range of lamination and special cover finishes, paperback perfect binding is ideal for standard volumes, anthology editions and short-run self-publishing projects.
• Perfect Hardback Binding: For a more premium, collectible result, our hardback option features a 2 mm thick cardboard core covered with 170 gsm paper and a square spine reinforced with special gauze. Endpapers — blank, unprinted sheets in 160 gsm Extraprint paper — are adhered to the inside of the cover for a refined, book-quality finish. The hardback cover is always laminated, with matt, gloss or soft-touch lamination available. Please note that hardback covers cannot be printed on the inside front and back pages.

Calculating the Right Number of Pages for Your Manga

When setting up your manga printing order, the total page count must be a multiple of two and should include all inside pages plus the four pages that make up your cover (front, back, inside front and inside back). One sheet equals two pages — the front and the back. As an example, if your manga has 80 inside pages, your total page count will be 84. Remember to prepare your cover as a full spread.
