As the Foam core panel prints differ in characteristics, the applications are wide and may vary as per your needs and budgets.

Foam core boards are 10mm foamex composite, typically used in art exhibitions, outdoor advertising or home and office decoration and signage mainly for large application, as they have an excellent printing outcome, are extremely light and easily wall mounted.

Smart X is the newest material, similar to Foam core but more solid and lighter. Great for live size cut outs or large wall prints, either outdoors or indoors.

Kapaplast and Kapatex both available in 5mm thick sheets and are another rigid and slightly more affordable versions, with diverse printing results. Kapaplast has a canvas painting feel in texture and in colours, while Kapaptex prints have vivid colours and are excellent as matt photographic reproductions.

Tips for the preparation and printing of your file

When printing large format materials, the optimal resolution for files in 1:1 scale is 100 dpi.
If any side of the product is greater than 5m in length, the file will have to be produced in 1:10 scale
with a resolution of 1000 dpi.
Our checking procedure blocks files with a resolution below 72 dpi.
Please send us a PDF, JPEG or TIFF file with the following features:
Base: #base#
Height: #altezza#
Use the template to create your file correctly, and do not add crop marks.

Brighton GB
Shiny and lightweight
Damages extremely easily, even the cutting process at production so they all arrived chipped and dented from the factory. Thia meant we had to change products and choose something a little more robust and expensive which also delayed our installation.

London GB Ecommerce consultant.
Really easy to work out which product you want to buy, and lots of off-the -shelf sizes to chose from. And REALLY fast delivery.
Customers need to be able to size artworks themselves - I had to buy adobe photoshop and learn how to do this with a screaming deadline. If you provided this as a chargeable option on your website - perhaps at a cost of £5 to use the software, per image - it would save a lot of pain for your customers. I would also suggest that you give indicative weights per m square for large format foamex etc because one of them is very heavy (too heavy to stick on some walls) whilst the other is very light but you can't tell which (and I'm too stupid to be able to work out which previous order was on what substrate). But thanks for the great service overall.
