Shaped Adhesive Labels

If the standard doesn't work for you and your products, with Pixartprinting you have the option to print shaped adhesive labels. These are custom-formed labels tailored entirely to your needs. We offer a high-quality online printing service, featuring a wide variety of materials and exclusive finishes. Just a few clicks away!

You can configure your product easily and receive your quote by choosing from a wide range of customisation options. Shaped labels can be printed with a minimum area of 1 x 1 cm and a maximum area of 30 x 30 cm. In addition to custom sizes and shapes, we also offer 3 predefined formats: Scalloped, Lollipop seal, and Lollipop: two circles.

For your order, you can also define the output direction (0°, 90°, 180°, or -90°), select the preferred roll size, and take advantage of practical technical features such as a minimum label gap of 0.4 cm and a half-cut die, where only the adhesive material is cut and not the backing, making the labels easier to peel, especially in smaller formats.

Additional print options are also available, including white printing on selected specialty papers and polypropylene, mirror printing for transparent materials applied indoors on glass surfaces and visible from the outside, and the Multi-artwork option, which allows you to print up to 10 different designs within a single job.

Shaped Labels: Materials

For printing your new shaped labels, you can choose from 20 different materials, each with specific characteristics designed to enhance your graphics and meet different application needs.

Plastic materials include White polypropylene, a glossy white film with permanent acrylic adhesive that is 100% waterproof and suitable for wet, humid, and outdoor environments; Transparent polypropylene, also waterproof and durable, available with mirror printing for glass applications; Silver Deluxe Polypropylene, a silver metallized material particularly recommended for flexible containers used in cosmetics, personal care, and food packaging; and Metallic holographic polypropylene, with a mirrored holographic finish and strong resistance to UV rays, water, and oil.

Standard papers include Coated paper, a glossy white adhesive paper with excellent colour brilliance; Uncoated paper, recommended for indoor products and suitable for writing on; and Natural white paper, a versatile solution for indoor applications on many types of surfaces.

Premium papers include Betulla laid paper, made of pure cellulose and treated to resist mould and moisture, ideal for wines and luxury products; Uncoated Embossed Paper, with a subtle diamond-textured finish and very good moisture resistance; Satin paper, a pearlescent embossed paper suitable for wine, ceremonial, and luxury sectors; Felted Greaseproof Paper, resistant to stains, oils, and vegetable fats; White Waterproof Paper, coated on both sides to ensure 100% waterproof performance; Canvas Paper, with a refined textured finish and excellent water resistance for bottles intended for immersion in water or ice; Gold Paper, with a glossy gold laminated metallic effect; Black pulp-dyed paper, highly resistant to immersion in water or ice and ideal for dark glass containers; and Natural Greaseproof Paper, designed for contact with fats and vegetable oils and suitable for small-diameter curved surfaces.

Barrier papers include White Wet-Strength Hammered Paper, designed for wine or beer bottles immersed in ice buckets or stored in refrigerated spaces; Extra-White Wet-Strength Paper, highly resistant to water, ice, and temperature fluctuations; Felt-Effect Wet-Strength Paper, ideal for premium labels with excellent adhesion on humid glass surfaces; and 100% Cotton Wet-Strength Paper, offering a premium tactile feel and strong resistance to water, ice, and humidity, especially for wines, spirits, and oils.

Laminated and Special-Finish Shaped Labels

To protect the print on your new shaped labels, we recommend applying a surface protection whenever possible. Anti-scratch varnish, for example, helps protect the label surface from scratches and UV rays. Other available options include matt lamination, a transparent protective film with a matte finish; gloss lamination, which adds a glossy protective surface; and Soft Touch lamination, which creates a smooth and pleasant soft-touch effect.

To make specific details stand out, you can also choose a special finish. 3D varnish creates a raised effect on selected printed areas, enhancing the tactile and visual impact of the label. Gold foil adds a bright and sophisticated metallic effect, while silver foil offers a refined and modern look, perfect for highlighting logos, product names, or decorative elements.

How to Print Shaped Labels

3. Submit your order and upload the print file to complete the purchase.

For custom sizes and shapes, you need to provide a file with two separate layers: one for the artwork and one for the cutting line. We recommend following the detailed instructions available on the product page. When using a transparent material, it is always recommended to select the white printing option to ensure optimal print quality. When using selective white printing, you must also provide a file with two layers: one for the artwork and one indicating the areas where white should be applied.
