Our food pouches are available in two formats to suit different products, shelf configurations and consumer needs:

• Doypacks — The doypack's self-standing base makes it the ideal choice for retail display, allowing your printed food pouch to stand upright on shelf and maximise visual impact. Available in eleven sizes ranging from 50 ml (8 x 13 cm) up to 1,000 ml (26 x 31 cm), doypacks are suitable for a huge variety of food products. An optional resealable zip keeps contents fresh after opening, while an optional hang hole adds further display flexibility.
• Flat Pouches — Sleek, lightweight and compact, flat pouches are a versatile solution for smaller quantities and products that don't require a standing format. Available in five sizes from 10 ml (4.5 x 13 cm) up to 1,000 ml (30 x 35 cm), they're well suited to sachets, samples and single-serve portions.

Please note that stated capacities are tested using water; the final capacity may vary for products with a different density or volume.

Food Pouch Packaging Materials Built to Protect and Perform

Choosing the right material for your pouches for food is essential — both for product preservation and for achieving the print finish your brand requires. Our food pouches are available in six materials, each with specific barrier and performance properties:

• Recyclable Transparent Film — A PP EVOH PP film with a gloss, matt or soft-touch finish. The EVOH layer provides an excellent barrier to oxygen and water vapour, keeping contents protected and fresh.
• Recyclable White Film — The same high-barrier PP EVOH PP construction as the transparent film, in an opaque white finish. Available in gloss, matt or soft-touch lamination.
• Recyclable Metallised Film — Provides a high barrier to light, gases and moisture, preserving flavour and protecting against mineral oils. The ideal choice for coffee, powdered foods, snacks, herbs and herbal teas.
• Recyclable Paper with Barrier Coating — A multilayered material combining 80 gsm paper with PE EVOH PE plastic. Suitable for food contact and offering excellent moisture protection and aroma barrier properties. Please note: this material is not oil-resistant and is therefore unsuitable for oily products such as butter, mustard or mayonnaise.
• High-Barrier Paper/Aluminium — A multilayered paper and aluminium construction offering outstanding moisture protection, excellent shockproof properties and high aroma and UV protection.
• Aluminium — A premium multi-layer material available in gloss or matt finish, offering the highest level of protection for aromas and organoleptic properties, as well as excellent printing performance. Ideal for products that require maximum barrier protection.

Lamination and Finishes for Your Printed Food Pouches

The finish you choose for your custom food pouches affects not only their appearance but also their feel and durability on shelf. All our food pouch packaging is available with a choice of three lamination options:
