What is a holographic sticker?

Our holographic stickers are printed on metallic holographic polypropylene, a material with a mirrored finish. When the holographic labels reflect the light, they produce a shimmering rainbow and holographic effect with striking colours and details. Alternatively, you are free to choose any shape and size you want for your holographic stickers by selecting the custom format and die option and entering your desired height and width in the corresponding fields. The minimum printable area is 1 x 1 cm, while the maximum is 30 x 30 cm. Then, you can continue working through the online order form, selecting the other customisation options.

By selecting a custom format and die, the label will have a cut path that matches your artwork. Download the Template to set up the cut path and follow the Instructions to achieve the best result.

Custom holographic stickers

Once you have selected the shape and size of your new holographic labels, there are several other customisation options to choose from, as follows:

• Material: metallic holographic polypropylene with a mirrored finish and holographic effect. It does not alter colours and ensures a high-impact result, with good adhesion and resistance to UV light, water and oil.
• Output direction: 0 degrees, +90 degrees, 180 degrees, 90 degrees. Simply send us the print file in the normal reading direction and we will rotate the artwork according to your preference.
• Label gapping: for automatic labelling machines, enter the distance required by the machine. For manual labelling, the minimum distance will be sufficient. The minimum distance between one label and the next is 0.4 cm, and you can customise it manually.
• Roll size: 1 roll, h 33 cm, 2 rolls, h 16.5 cm, 3 rolls, h 11 cm.
• White printing: none or selective white. Selective white is applied to specific areas of the material and can be used on its own or as a base for printing. When used with printed designs, the layer of white ink will bring out the images and artwork.
• Multi-artwork: you can include multiple design variants in the same print run by selecting the multi-artwork option on this page. Enter the number of variants and the quantity of copies for each. By default, the total quantity selected is divided into equal parts, but you can modify this freely.

How to create the print file for holographic labels

Do you want to use your own artwork for printing the labels? You can select the “Prepare and upload” option to complete the order and then proceed with uploading the file. We recommend downloading the template with instructions from this page; they will help you set up the PDF correctly.

Below are some important instructions for correct print file creation:

• Color: all files must be submitted in CMYK (cyan, magenta, yellow, black) using the Fogra 39 color profile.
• Resolution: the optimal resolution for printing files is 300 ppi.
• PDF: submit your file in PDF format.
• Margins and bleeds: download the template for the product you purchased; the bleed will already be correctly set at 2 mm from the cut.
• Additional information: vector paths must be at least 0.25 pt. If you plan a special finish on the path, it must be at least 1 pt.

In the case of a custom format and die-cut, you must provide a file with two separate layers: one for the artwork and one for the cut line. We recommend consulting the detailed instructions available on the product page.

When using selective white, you must provide a file with two layers: one for the artwork and one to indicate the areas where white should be applied.
