Available formats for Luxury Label printing

You can choose from several predefined formats, including round labels, rectangular labels, square labels, oval labels, square labels with rounded corners and rectangular labels with rounded corners. Alternatively, you can print your new labels in a custom format by manually entering your preferred width and height measurements. Please note that the minimum printable area is 1.5 x 1 cm, while the maximum is 30 x 30 cm.

• Removable coated paper: glossy white coated adhesive paper with excellent colour rendering in terms of brilliance. It adapts to all surfaces and is easily removable without leaving adhesive residue.
• Canvas paper: ideal for high-quality labels for wine, promotional and beverage applications. It features a rough textured surface with a refined dotted effect and excellent water resistance, making it suitable for bottles that may come into contact with water or ice.
• White Waterproof Paper: a pure cellulose paper treated on both sides with a coating that ensures excellent opacity and high resistance to wet and humid conditions; ideal for high-quality labels for beverages, wine and promotional uses.
• Matt coated paper: smooth warm white matte coated paper, wood-free. Resistant to moisture and treated with fungicides, it is specifically developed for the wine industry.
• White felt-marked paper: white matte uncoated paper, wood-free, made from 100% recycled pulp, with felt-marked finish. Resistant to moisture and with fungicidal treatment.
• Extra White Wet-Strength Paper: premium natural paper with a high white point that enhances colour reproduction. Its wet-strength structure makes it extremely resistant to contact with water, ice and temperature fluctuations, making it ideal for beverages, wines and products in glass bottles or jars.

The Enhancement of Luxury Labels

The enhancement allows you to enrich the appearance of the labels. Here are the premium finishing options you can choose for customising your Luxury Labels:

• Holographic lamination: enchant your customers with a magical rainbow effect. Make your logo or the name of the product shine with its own light.

• Dry printing: this process does not involve the use of inks. It is created through pressure and allows you to achieve a raised design on the label.
• Hot foil stamping: through a combination of heat and pressure, this process transfers vector graphics, logos or other elements from a metallic foil onto the label. It can be glossy or matte and is available in gold, silver and copper.
• 3D-effect printing: 3D cast printing is a digital process that embellishes certain details of the label with a three-dimensional and soft effect. It can be glossy or matte and is available in gold, silver, copper and transparent as 3D varnish.
• Selective UV: allows you to highlight certain details of your label with a raised effect. It can be glossy or matte.
• Total UV: gives a glossy or matte finish to the entire surface of the label, creating an effect similar to lamination in terms of protection and durability while maintaining the recyclability and compostability characteristics of the substrate.
• Cast & Cure: gives a holographic effect to the entire surface of the label while preserving the recyclability and compostability of the substrate.

Customising Luxury Labels

On this page, you have the option to select the customisation options you prefer for printing your new Luxury Labels: material, format (standard or custom), dimensions, finish and enhancement, reel winding, winding direction, inner diameter of the reel, distance between labels, and number of labels per reel.

You can also define additional technical specifications to suit your production process:

• Unwind direction: choose whether you want your labels positioned on the outside or inside of the reel.
• Output direction: four options are available: 0°, 90°, 180° and -90°.
• Inside diameter of roll: you can choose from three different diameters: 4 cm, 4.5 cm and 7.6 cm.
• Mirrored printing: ideal for labels applied in indoor environments on glass surfaces, making them visible from the outside. It is available for transparent materials.
• Selective white: applied to specific areas of the substrate. It can be used alone or as a base for printing, helping images and graphics stand out without being altered by the base colour of the material.

How to create the graphic file for Luxury Labels

Below are some important instructions for correctly creating the graphic file:

• Colour: all files must be sent in CMYK (cyan, magenta, yellow, black) with the Fogra 39 colour profile assigned.
• Resolution: the optimum resolution for print files is 300 ppi.
• PDF: send your file in PDF format.
• Margins and bleed: download the template for the product you've purchased; the bleed will already be correctly set at 2 mm from the cut.
• Additional information: vector paths must be at least 0.25 pt. If you plan to apply special finishes to the path, it must be at least 1 pt.
• Finishing: finishes must be vector-based, set to overprint, positioned on a dedicated layer, and assigned the spot colour swatch specified in the instructions, depending on the type of finish chosen.

In the case of a custom format and die-cut, it is necessary to provide a file with two separate layers: one dedicated to the artwork and one to the cutting line. We recommend consulting the detailed instructions available on the product page.

When using a transparent material, we always recommend selecting the selective white option to ensure optimal graphic rendering.
