You can personalise your 3D labels in just a few clicks on the website, selecting your preferred options:

1. Format: you can choose from several pre-defined formats, including round labels, rectangular labels, square labels and oval labels, as well as square and rectangular labels with rounded corners. Alternatively, you can print your new labels in a custom format by entering your required measurements in the width and height fields. Remember that the minimum printable surface area is 1 x 1 cm, while the maximum is 30 x 30 cm.
2. Material: we offer various materials for your printing projects. Each has its own unique properties, which can highlight the print details in style.
   • Coated paper ensures a well-defined print and bright colours on labels that stick to any smooth surface.
   • Betulla laid paper, treated for mould and damp resistance, is ideal for high-end products such as wines and luxury items. It also sticks to moist surfaces, producing reliable 3D labels printed in high definition.
   • Uncoated embossed paper is a matt white paper with a fine diamond finish that offers excellent adhesion to various surfaces and outstanding moisture resistance, making it ideal for premium products.
   • Satin paper, with a pearly-white embossed surface, is mainly used in the wine-making, ceremonial and luxury sectors.
   • Felt-effect greaseproof paper, which is natural and uncoated, has a textured surface similar to fabric. It is stain-resistant and suitable for products that require resistance to oils and fats, although it is not recommended for small-diameter curved surfaces due to its stiffness.
   • White waterproof paper is a pure cellulose paper treated on both sides with a coating that ensures excellent opacity and strong resistance to wet and humid conditions, making it ideal for beverages, wine and promotional uses.
   • Canvas paper features a rough textured surface with a refined dotted effect and excellent water resistance, making it suitable for bottles that may come into contact with water or ice.
   • Polypropylene, white or transparent, is highly versatile and suitable for many different uses. White polypropylene has a glossy white finish, while transparent polypropylene is available with mirror printing, useful when the label must be viewed from the outside of a glass surface.
   • White Wet-Strength Hammered Paper is a highly water-resistant barrier paper designed for labelling wine or beer bottles immersed in ice buckets or stored in refrigerated environments.
3. Finish: all 3D labels are treated with Labellife 3 scratch-resistant varnish, making them resistant to UV light and scratches. Depending on the selected material, you can also add protective coatings and lamination to enhance durability.
4. Special finish: the 3D labels are enhanced by a special finish, whereby certain details of the print are highlighted. You can choose gold or silver hot stamping to make certain parts of your graphics shine with a metallic effect, or you can apply an extra-thick transparent varnish to create an attractive 3D effect.

• 3D varnish: this finish creates a raised effect on the printed areas, giving your label a three-dimensional appearance that catches the eye and enhances specific details of your artwork.
• Gold foil: adds a touch of class with a brilliant and sophisticated effect. It is ideal for making your logo or product name shine.
• Silver foil: similar to gold foil, but with an elegant and modern silver effect. Perfect for those seeking a refined appearance that is less conspicuous than gold.

5. Output direction: you can also choose the orientation of your 3D labels on the inside of the roll. Select the output direction that meets your packaging requirements: 0°, 90°, 180° or -90°. You can send us your print file in a standard view and we will take care of rotating the graphics based on your preference.
6. Distance between the labels: inside the roll, the minimum distance between one label and the next is 0.4 cm. You can customise the distance between labels by entering your preferred measurement manually.

How to create the print file

Do you want to use your own artwork for printing the labels? You can select the “Prepare and upload” option to complete the order and then proceed with uploading the file. We recommend downloading the template with instructions from this page; they will help you set up the PDF correctly.

Below are some important instructions for correct print file creation:

• Color: all files must be submitted in CMYK (cyan, magenta, yellow, black) using the Fogra 39 color profile.
• Resolution: the optimal resolution for printing files is 300 ppi.
• PDF: submit your file in PDF format.
• Margins and bleeds: download the template for the product you purchased; the bleed will already be correctly set at 2 mm from the cut.
• Additional information: vector paths must be at least 0.25 pt. If you plan a special finish on the path, it must be at least 1 pt.
• Special finishes: special finishes must be vector-based, set to overprint, placed on a dedicated Finishing layer, and assigned the Finishing spot color (0,50,100,0).

For custom sizes and die-cuts, you must provide a file with two separate layers: one for the artwork and one for the cut line. We recommend consulting the detailed instructions available on the product page.

When using a transparent material, we always recommend selecting the selective white option to ensure optimal print results. When using selective white, you must provide a file with two layers: one for the artwork and one indicating the areas where the white ink should be applied.
